JEFF DAVIS designs for theatre, television, opera, dance and special events. His design work has included the Broadway and national touring productions of the Duke Ellington musical Play On!, revivals of Born Yesterday with Ed Asner and Madeline Kahn, I Never Sang for My Father with Daniel J. Travanti, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Death of a Salesman directed by George C. Scott, as well as The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940, Slab Boys and Edward Albee's The Man Who Had Three Arms and numerous Broadway shows you have never heard of or saw. Jeff's television credits include, for ABC, "Canvas of Ice" with Olympic figure skating champions Brian Boitano and Katerina Witt, "One Life to Live", "All My Children", and "Great Performances" and "Live From Lincoln Center" for PBS. Mr. Davis has designed 25 productions and 5 world premieres for the New York City Opera at Lincoln Center; Turandot for Opera Quebec; 2006 Festival dei Due Mondi, Spoleto, Italy; Karusell for Det Norske Teatret in Oslo, Norway, and the opening ceremonies for the Wollman Skating Rink in New York's Central Park for Donald Trump. Jeff's lighting design work has earned him 3 Emmy Award nominations, the Los Angeles Dramalogue Award and Philadelphia's Barrymore Award. |
